Location:
Centrally located near RAI Congress Centre, Albert Cuyp Market & Museum District,
in the Middle of the City
The B & B is centrally located in a quiet street in the popular lively Pijp area.
The Rai, Museum Quarter (van Gogh Museum), Concertgebouw, famous Albert Cuypmarket (largest daily Market in Holland), Canal Cruises , the Heineken Experience , Diamand Factories and lots of restaurants are all at walking distance. In the Pijp area is also a less known redlight district and 3 coffeeshops around the corner.
It's also the area between down-town and the newly develloped ZuidAs (where many large companies settle).
Being originally an area where students used to live, nowadays it's one of the most wanted areas in town to live in. Most buildings have been completely renovated, and it has a mixed yuppy and student population, with tons of facilities nearby. There are many nice restaurants and bars to explore.
It's also a safe area in town, where you can just stroll down the streets in the evening.

A short guide to De Pijp:
‘The Pipe’ (its derivation is a mystery) is a quiet residential suburb with a cosmopolitan bohemian air thanks to a large number of immigrants and the recent gentrification of the area by an arty crowd. Running through the centre, the daily Albert Cuyp Market is the largest in the city. De Pijp is also renowned for its restaurants which serve some of Amsterdam’s best
ethnic (Syrian, Moroccan, Surinamese, Turkish etc) food.

By public transport:
From Central Station: Tram 25
Tramstop Ferd. Bolstraat
Take the first street to the left(= "Ferdinand Bolstraat")
Take the first street to the right(= Van Ostadestraat, Nr. 66)
By Car
From the A10 (= Amsterdam ring)
Get off at Offramp S108 (Oud Zuid, Olympisch Stadion)
Take a right turn and follow S108 (direction Centrum)
After ar. 3 km, you will find a Shell gasstation on your right
At the traffic lights, follow the S108 going left
(there is now water on your right hand side)
Next Trafficlight: turn right and cross the bridge (= Ceintuurbaan)
2nd street to the right (= Dusartstraat)
1st street to the right (= Van Ostadestraat, no. 66)
